Definition of Settings:
  • Default: Quake 3 loaded up and no video settings modified except for resolution.
  • Highest: Quake 3 setting of *Highest* with the following:
    • Textures set to 32-bit.
    • Color depth set to 32-bit
    • Trilinear filter set.
    • Geometric Detail set to high.
    • Texture detail slider all the way to the right.
  • Fastest: Quake 3 setting of *Fastest* with the following:
    • Textures set to 16-bit.
    • Color depth set to 16-bit
    • Bilinear filter set.
    • Geometric Detail set to low.
    • Texture detail slider all the way to the left.
  • My fastest is a custom config file I wrote with various settings designed for one thing...more frames.

All timedemos were done using the 1.27h version of Quake 3 against the included "demo127.dm_48" file.
